Somehow, he had ended up walking alone this evening. He normally walk with a friend, but tonight he watched the sunset alone. His mind wandered as he made the long trek home in the darkness. He noticed a star in the night sky which seemed to be following him. Of course, when your mind is unsettled, they all seem to be following you. He walked along, watching the star out of the corner of his eye. He paused to have a sip of coffee. The star did not stop it seemed to be getting bigger. He turned to look at it and defiantly took another sip of coffee. What was he looking at? Could this be a UFO? His questions were answered a moment later, when a beam of light hit him and he was transported suddenly, somewhere else, his coffee carefully sat on a nearby rock. Three hours later, he found himself back where he had been. He reached down and picked up his cup. Hmm, the delicious coffee was still piping hot. He took a sip and looked up into the sky. He smiled for just a moment for he knew he had been in a Midnight Alien Abduction Sighting and was here to tell about it.
